Snapshot of Position
We are seeking a committed Supply Chain Manager, based in Totowa NJ, - to optimize operational processes for product delivery & service provision. Organized and methodical, he/she will assist in managing Production, Logistics & Warehouse, Facility & Office Management. Oversight of planning, sourcing, production, distribution are daily responsibilities. The goal is to ensure efficiency, cost effectiveness &seamless sale to customer and provide support to ensure smooth operations & consistent flow of goods to customers.
Areas of Responsibility
As Supply Chain Manager you will
- oversee inventory monitoring storage cost: to include rotation rate, warehouse expenses
- forecast customer needs to prevent shortage | out of stock via analysis of consumer reports
- assist inventory & program stock replenishment ensuring alignment with customer demand
- liaise with Sales & Logistics to secure timely product availability
- supervise procurement of goods sourcing competitive quality
- support management of 3rd -party warehouses & oversee the bulk vinegar process
- rework & optimize warehouse layouts to streamline operational workflow
- ensure adherence to quality control standards & compliance to safety protocols
- oversee warehouse department & implement strategies improving people’s organization
- continuous & detailed up to date performance reporting to senior management & Italian HQ
Product Operations Management
- support operations throughout the business increasing efficiency & productivity
- conduct cost analysis of profitability, freighting & warehousing to generate healthy margins on pricing
- analyze storage cost in relation to overall pricing structure
- advise on competitive pricing with suppliers
- be a primary point of contact for customers on all outbound sales orders, chargebacks & returns
- react promptly on all customer complaints suggesting corrective action when necessary
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience supporting operational improvements
- Familiarity with Supply Management procurement, cost accounting, demand forecasting, inventory management, pricing
- Strong personality proactively supporting business interests acting as bridge between C-level & mid-management leaders
- Methodical, organized, and reliable working attitude with excellent organizational & communication skills
- Passionate about Food & Operations, with an interest in continuous learning and growth
- Proficient computer skills, including the use of integrated information systems
- Detail oriented, possesses strong analytical problem-solving skills | at ease with working under pressure
